Why maintain your scroll pump before it breaks?

1. The High vacuum lubricant used in the bearings requires periodic refreshing to maximize bearing life.
2. The shaft seals used around the crankshaft require periodic replacement to maximize leak integrity and provide maximum base pressure performance.
3. Material from the vacuum process can build up on the pump causing touch points. These touch points need to be periodically cleaned up to minimize excessive loads on the bearings and excessive temperatures in the pump that will cause pre-mature failure.
